Since 2005 the University of Victoria is hosting the initiative EUCAnet.org, featuring an EU and European expertise database. EUCAnet was developed in collaboration with the ECSA-C and was co-funded by major financial support from the European Commission. From 2008-2017  the SSHRC funded  Canada-Europe Transatlantic Dialogue has been instrumental in further developing EUCAnet and its outreach components (weekly media tips, YouTube channel). Since 2017 EUCAnet  is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Programme of the European Union and the Centre for Global Studies at the University of Victoria focusing on developing selected networks across Canada as well as outreach strategies for EU expertise in Canada.
